Mail from 1924 team members is extremely rare. The sheer volume of Subscriber Postcards dwarfed the amount of regular correspondence sent to and from the team.
7th July 1924. Cover from Yatung sent by Captain John Noel to his company, Explorers Films Ltd. The Everest label has been cancelled by the Tractor Party cachet. The underpaid postage was collected by the postage due stamp.
28th July 1924. Cover from Bentley Beetham written on the expedition’s return via Sikkim. This is the only recorded cover from Gangtok, the capital.
